SeoWorx is a Manifest V3 extension for Google Chrome, and works on Chromium-based browsers that support the Chrome Web Store (such as Edge, Brave and Arc). A Firefox/Safari build isn't available today.

Repeat views of the same domain are cached, so you're not charged twice for the same lookup in a short window.

Data pulls pause until your monthly pool refreshes at the next cycle. You can also add a top-up — extra credits that stack on top of your monthly pool and never expire. SeoWorx always spends your monthly credits first, then draws from top-ups only once the monthly pool is used up.

Monthly credits reset each billing cycle and don't roll over. Top-up, bonus and referral credits are different — they sit in a separate never-expiring balance and carry over indefinitely.

Yes — open the popup (toolbar icon) any time to see remaining monthly credits plus any top-up balance, or view the full breakdown on your dashboard.

Billing runs through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles global VAT and sales tax and appears on your statement — so your receipts are tax-compliant wherever you are. We never see or store your card details.

Yes. Top-ups are available as one-off purchases that stack on top of any plan and never expire. Note that top-ups can only be purchased on a paid plan; free users can still spend top-up credits they've earned through referrals or bonus coupons.

Manage, upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the paid period.

Authority and traffic figures reflect each provider's most recent index, so they match what you'd see in Moz or SpyFu directly. On-page numbers are read live from the page you're on, so they always reflect what's actually rendered. The full glossary of every metric is in the metrics reference.

No — and this is deliberate. The extension calls the SeoWorx backend, which holds all third-party API keys, verifies your subscription, then calls the SEO data providers. Keys never live in the extension, so they can't be extracted by anyone who installs it.

Metrics render on Google's organic results — not ads, knowledge panels or other special blocks. If organic results are also blank, check three things: the power toggle in the popup is green, the floating SeoWorx icon at the top-left of the results page is green (grey means the SERP metrics are toggled off — click it to turn them back on), and that you still have credits.

The Most Valuable Keywords table shows the top 25 by default, included in the analytics view. To see the full list, click Load all 100 keywords — it fetches the next 75 on demand for an extra 65 credits, charged only if you click it. So you never pay for the long list unless you want it.

Open the popup (toolbar icon) and pick a theme from the grid at the bottom. Your choice applies everywhere — the SERP overlay, the side panel and the analytics dashboard — and is remembered across sessions.

No. The overlay is a compact bar tucked under each result and styled with prefixed classes so it never clashes with Google's own page. You can pause it entirely with the power toggle at any time.

No. SeoWorx does not keep a per-user log of the pages you browse. Usage is stored only as aggregate credit counts, and the metrics cache is keyed by domain — not by who looked it up.

The side panel can open on any website, so the extension requests host access broadly. It only reads a page's content when you actually open the panel or run a lookup there — nothing is collected in the background.

The popup header has a power toggle — green when active, red when paused. Turning it off hides the launcher on every page and stops decorating search results, so no credits are spent until you switch it back on.

Commissions are 30% of a referred customer's first payment. Each one is reviewed before it becomes payable, then sent to your PayPal once your approved balance passes the minimum payout. Add your PayPal email and track referrals, commissions and payouts on the Earn Credits & Commissions page.

Yes. Referral and bonus credits are spendable on any plan, including free — even though free users can't purchase top-ups directly. It's a gift you can put straight to use.

Go to Claim bonus credits from your dashboard, enter the code and submit. One-time coupons add to your top-up balance; monthly coupons raise your recurring monthly allowance for as long as they're active. Codes are single-use and case-insensitive.

Usually one of three things: you're out of credits (check the popup), SeoWorx is paused (power toggle), or you're signed out. If all three look fine, reload the page — Google occasionally changes its markup and a refresh re-runs the overlay.

Chrome updates extensions in the background, but you can force it: visit chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and click Update. Then reload any open tabs so the new content script loads.
